Ever since John W. Blind opened the doors in 1937 to offer coal furnaces and gas conversion burners, Blind & Sons has been evolving to meet the comfort needs of homeowners in Northeast, Ohio.

We’ve seen the advent of forced air furnaces and the golden era of air conditioning (in 1957!). Customers of today’s generation are sure to recognize our jingle “Call 753-7711…” and our phone has been ringing both day and night, especially once we added these great services:

• 1996:

Our Indoor Air Quality Division began offering duct cleaning services, whole home humidifiers and air cleaners, just to name a few.

• 2001:

Our Plumbing Division expanded our business range to everything from replacing a faucet to a complete plumbing overhaul.

• 2004:

Our Electrical Division grew to meet all of our friends’ electrical needs. We can handle the smallest jobs such as new outlets, lighting upgrades and surge protectors. We also offer the best quality and installation of whole-home generators.

• 2020:

Our Company grew to meet the increased demands of a rapidly developing region. Heartland Home Services has partnered with Blind & Sons and Superior Drainage. Heartland Home Services is the leading provider of non-discretionary, residential HVAC replacement and maintenance, plumbing and electrical services in the Midwest. The company currently maintains seven brands operating across four states. Blind & Sons and Superior Drainage have outstanding reputations in the North East Ohio market and in addition to our unique training program that facilitates the development of versatile technicians across the HVAC, plumbing and electrical trades, our unique family style operations made for a perfect union with Heartland Home Services. Blind and Superior have grown rapidly in recent years and our continued growth in the future is a testament to each company’s culture and employees.
