In addition, they undertake drug testing and are subject to background checks for your added peace of mind. 

Meet our Management Team

Dan Ody – General Manager

Dan is currently the General Manager of Blind and Sons. He has had a lifelong career in the trades. He started his career in a factory as an electrician, switched to HVAC, then landed in plumbing. Dan has spent the last 25 years learning the plumbing, HVAC, electrical and indoor air quality industry inside and out during which time he has held several management positions.

Dan has been with Blind and Sons for over 16 years and as a personal philosophy he makes it his priority to make everyone around him the best they are capable of being which inevitably ensures they achieve their personal goals while becoming successful.

“I started at Blind and Sons as a technician in the field, then over the years I advanced into management. I have held different managerial positions which propelled the company to continuously grow and achieve its goals of not only providing exceptional products and services to its customers but also to ensure that Blind and Sons remains North East Ohio’s leading HVAC, plumbing and electrical company. These positions also contributed to my own personal development and education.”

My biggest driving force is my family, my wife and kids always push and stand behind me, we never settle, always looking for the next opportunity to grow or improve. We love the outdoors, boating, and sports.

Vesna Gaugler – Controller 

Vesna is currently the Logistics and Accounting Manager at Blind & Sons.  She has been in the Accounting industry for over 23 years, and with our Blind & Sons family since 2000. She has held multiple positions within the Accounting department, and advanced into management.  She has a strong understanding of all positions within the company and how they interact with each other.  She has played a huge role in creating, improving, cross training, gain efficiencies with systems, polices and processes throughout the entire company.

Vesna has a strong focus on breaking down Departmental barriers and prompting “TEAM” across the board.  “I am very appreciative for our employees’ dedication, knowledge and hard work!  We have built a GREAT TEAM, here and I am very blessed to be a part of it!”

When Vesna is not working she enjoys watching sports and family time with her husband and 2 kids.

Billy McManigal – Sales and Marketing Manager

Billy McManigal has been with Blind and Sons since 2002.  He started working as an employee in the field and since has held many different management positions which gives him diverse knowledge of the industry and business.

Billy currently holds the Ohio Contractor’s HVAC license for Blind and Sons.

“I love coming to work every day and being a part of this team.  Many of us have been working together for many years and it truly feels like family.  We all take pride in handling every situation that our customers face.  It is a good feeling to come to work daily and know that you’re helping families stay safe and comfortable in the place they spend most of their time, their homes.”

Billy enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.  They enjoy trips to the beach, camping and just hanging out at home by a nice fire.

David Ringeis – Production Manager

David is currently the production manager at Blind and Sons. David believes in the power of teamwork and helping people. David has nearly 20 years’ experience in the home system and building industry. David began his journey with Blind and Sons in electrical service. He has experience in management, contracting and customer service.

David has spent the last 20 years learning about the home service industry from the ground up. This gives him a unique perspective on operations and working relationships. He has led the transformation of Blind and Sons’ electrical division into one of Ohio’s leading electrical services provider growing sales year over year.

David has a strong focus on service and customer satisfaction. He fully supports the mission of Blind & Sons to give “Value beyond price” through detailed and thoughtful care in each customer’s home.

When David is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children.
