Successfully installed a 10 KW Generac standby generator with a 16-circuit automatic transfer switch. Ran approximately 30 feet of gas line from the existing meter to the generator location to provide adequate fuel supply. Mounted the transfer switch in the utility area and completed all necessary electrical connections between the main service panel, transfer switch, and generator unit. Wired 16 designated circuits through the transfer switch to ensure automatic power transfer during utility outages. Tested all transfer switch operations and verified proper generator startup sequence and load transfer functionality. No utility disconnect was required per electrical inspection authority approval. All work completed to manufacturer specifications and local electrical code requirements.
