Accessed plumbing assembly through existing cutout revealing corroded piping with active leak at valve connections. Replaced deteriorated main line section including installation of new brass fittings, shutoff valves with black, blue, and red handles for system isolation, and flanged connections. Addressed significant rust and corrosion on existing elbow sections. Integrated new PEX supply lines (blue tubing) with existing copper and galvanized steel piping. Installed pressure regulation components and ensured proper valve operation for future maintenance access. Traced electrical circuits from thermostat through low-voltage wiring to furnace control panel. Opened furnace control panel and visually inspected green control board for signs of power surge damage, including burned components, damaged traces, or failed transformers. Checked all wire connections at control board terminals for secure attachment and proper seating in white connector blocks.
