Replaced a leaking 2017 Rheem 50-gallon water heater with a new Bradford White 50-gallon unit featuring a 6-year manufacturer warranty. Installed a drain pan with discharge line to floor drain, rebuilt hot and cold water lines with new copper drops, tied into existing CPVC with appropriate transition adapters, installed new shut-off valve on cold water line, mounted new expansion tank, and capped the drop from the original expansion tank location.
Responded to service call for frozen air conditioning unit at residential property. Upon arrival, found evaporator coil completely iced over, requiring thaw time before diagnostic procedures could be performed. After unit thawed, conducted refrigerant charge assessment and confirmed system was low on refrigerant. Inspected outdoor condensing unit and refrigerant line set for visible signs of leaks or damage. Observed heavily contaminated air filter with significant dust and debris accumulation, which can restrict airflow and contribute to freezing conditions. Provided customer with quote for refrigerant recharge service on older residential system.
Upon arrival, diagnosed a no-heat condition with the furnace displaying a seven error code indicating a lockout due to open limit for more than three minutes. Found that the furnace would fire but the blower motor failed to operate. Testing confirmed appropriate voltage was reaching the motor, but the control board was not properly sending the signal to engage the blower motor. Additionally observed that when voltage was sent to the gas valve, the system would restart. Replaced the defective control board and blower motor under warranty to restore proper system operation.
Completed MVP Cooling Visit on a 23+ year old Goodman forced-air system. Inspected furnace and air handler unit in basement mechanical room, evaluated ductwork connections and plenum assembly. Documented heavily soiled air filter requiring replacement due to significant dust and debris accumulation restricting airflow. System operational following maintenance protocol.
Responded to service call for leaking hot water tank with water accumulation on basement floor. Upon inspection, identified 12-14 year old tanked water heater showing signs of age-related deterioration in a 25-year-old residential property. Examined all visible plumbing connections, including copper supply lines, expansion tank, and associated fittings for signs of active leaking. Assessed water heater condition, noting oxidation on copper piping and evaluating overall system integrity. Documented mechanical system configuration including ductwork, PVC drainage, and braided stainless steel connectors. No structural damage to surrounding area was observed despite water presence on concrete floor.

Responded to service call for water heater maintenance. Upon arrival, identified unit as Navien NPE-240A2 tankless instantaneous water heater, not a traditional tanked system. No flush service was performed as this tankless unit does not require the same maintenance procedure as conventional tank-style water heaters.
Completed preventive maintenance tune-up on a 3-year-old residential air conditioning system. Performed comprehensive inspection of indoor furnace components and outdoor condensing unit. Outdoor condenser coil exhibited heavy accumulation of dirt, dust, and debris throughout the fin surfaces, with particularly dense buildup in the central and upper portions; cleaned coil to restore proper airflow and heat transfer efficiency. Noted minor fin damage on right side of coil during inspection. Verified all electrical connections, checked refrigerant pressures, and confirmed proper system operation. Indoor furnace unit inspected with blower motor, gas valve, and control wiring all found in acceptable condition. System operating within normal parameters upon completion.
